A CME on ‘Nutrition; Fuel for the future’ was organised at AIMS Mohali by Departments of Community Medicine and Dietetics on 22nd September 2023 to commemorate ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah-2023’.
The CME was inaugurated by Dr Bhavneet Bharti, Director Principal AIMS Mohali and Dr Akash Deep Aggarwal, Joint Director Medical Education and Research, Punjab.
It was attended by 120 delegates and included sessions on the role of nutrition on health by expert nutritionists of the region and eminent doctors of AIMS Mohali.
Use of Millets and organic food in daily diet was showcased by students of KVA DAV Women’s College Karnal and Agro India Ltd Chandigarh.
1st year MBBS student of AIMS Mohali, Ms Arpita won the first prize in best presentation for ‘Know your food’ category.
